Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using ShamMentor services, you agree to these terms and related policies. You are responsible for providing accurate registration details and using the platform lawfully.
Account responsibilities
Keep your account credentials secure and do not share access in ways that risk account abuse. You are responsible for activity under your account unless unauthorized use is reported promptly.
Mentors, mentees, and conduct
Users must keep profiles truthful, communicate respectfully, and avoid harassment, fraud, impersonation, or harmful content. ShamMentor may moderate, restrict, or remove accounts/content that violate platform rules.
Bookings, events, and services
Session/event participation and booking outcomes depend on availability, approval states, and platform rules. Cancellation/reschedule behavior and any applicable policy links are shown in product flows where relevant.
Fees and payment-related operations
Where paid services are enabled, pricing, credits/fees, and payment state are handled through platform payment flows and records. Users must review displayed totals and policy notes before confirming purchases.
Communications and notifications
ShamMentor may send service communications for verification, account security, booking/event updates, and operational notices. Marketing/analytics preferences can be managed where controls are provided.
Platform availability
We work to keep services available and stable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security controls, connectivity failures, or third-party outages can affect access.
Intellectual property
ShamMentor platform code, branding, and product materials remain protected by applicable rights. Users keep rights to their content but grant platform permissions needed to host and operate services.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, abuse, fraud/safety risk, or legal requirements. Users may request account deletion through supported account settings and support channels.
Limitation and disclaimer
ShamMentor is a private platform facilitator, not a government authority or licensed professional regulator. Services are provided on an operational basis, and liability is limited to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Changes and re-consent
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. If required, we will request renewed consent to continue protected actions.
